The School Construction Authority was created in 1988 by New York State to design, construct, and rehabilitate public schools. Scope and Contents: In approximately 1980 the Division of School Buildings began a project to microfilm the bulk of its collection of architectural drawings. By 2003 the records were under the care of the School Construction Authority, which transferred them to the Municipal Archives. The records consist of two subseries.
