Description

Accession consists of correspondence, staff notes, forms, and copies of lease agreements. This material pertains to the Commission's assistance to the diplomatic community in locating New York City housing. Correspondence included is that among landlords, diplomatic corps tenants, the City Commission for the United Nations and for the Consular Corps, and the Foundation for Improvement of Housing Arrangement for Official Foreign Personnel, Inc. The Foundation was established in 1967 through charitable contributions of concerned realtors, corporations, and citizens. The Foundation is administered by the City Commission for the United Nations and for the Consular Corps.
