La Guardia Field cash receipt books for 1943 to 1947
Description
The accession consists of six bound ledgers in which are recorded the details of income-producing activities and services of the Department of Marine and Aviation, the successor agency of the Department of Docks, at La Guardia Field (now La Guardia Airport) in the mid-1940s. Each ledger page represents a statistical report on fees received by the Department for services rendered during the covered dates. Within each volume, chronological by date receipts were reported.
