Description

The accession consists of bound volumes containing handwritten information about cases in Manhattan referred to the Court of Special Sessions from the Magistrates' Courts. Each entry contains the date set for plea, docket number, name, address and sex of defendant, name of complainant, nature and date of offense, property and value involved in the case, name of court of original jurisdiction, disposition of case, and remarks. Entries are arranged numerically by docket number.
