Queens County District Attorney Supreme Court closed case files for 1971


Description

The accession contains adjudicated cases that had been in the New York State Supreme Court. The records were maintained by the Queens County District Attorney's Office. The individual case files contain Grand Jury minutes, transcriptions, memoranda, subpoenas, affidavits, statements of the accused, and motions made by the people. Some cases may also include laboratory reports and narcotic reports. Included in the accession are some sealed cases. The records are arranged chronologically by year and thereunder numerically by case file. There are six cubic feet missing from this sequence of records from 1971. The year 1971 was selected as a sample representation.
