Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani videotapes for 1994 to 2000

Description

The accession contains videotapes which focus on Mayor Giuliani and his administration. The tapes, both Betacam and U-matic formats in varying lengths, were generated by Crosswalks, WNYC, and some outside producers. Crosswalks took over production when WNYC became a private corporation in 1996 so there is some overlap. The tape IDs from this period are not distinguished by producer; they are all marked by date; however, the WNYC tapes are generally marked by subject. Most of Crosswalks tapes and some of the WNYC tapes were inventoried by subject at item level. Crosswalks acquired the WNYC tapes after WNYC ceased operation as the City's public TV Station. The material is related to Accessions 2002-013 and 2002-014. Arranged chronologically.
