Legislative correspondence sent to the Governor of New York for 1974 to 1977

Description

The accession consists of memorandums and letters placed in bound volumes. The material was created by the Mayor, the Mayor's Office State Legislative Representative, and members of the Mayor's administration to inform the Governor and the Governor's staff of the City of New York's support or opposition to pending State legislation and amplify its position. Some of the material is in a form similar to the accession Memoranda on State Legislation. The Mayor's letter to the Governor on each piece of legislation is characteristically the first in a sequence of related memoranda and letters on the same legislation. These sequences of material are arranged in yearly volumes by the Senate bill number assigned to the legislation.
