Brooklyn Borough President Howard Golden correspondence logs circa 1980 to 1994
Description
Howard Golden served as Brooklyn Borough president from 1978 to 2001. The accession consists of logs of correspondence in the form of computer printouts in paper binders. They list incoming correspondence in approximately chronological order by the date received and can be used as an index for the replies found in the accession Chronological Correspondence and Subject Files of Howard Golden. Log entries indicate correspondent, date received, indication of where a copy is filed in the Subject Files (this is not entered consistently and rarely done at all after 1990), the person copies are routed to, and the person who will draft the reply or other notes as to the reply or action to be taken. Though the material dates from circa 1980 to 1994, there are gaps.
