Description
Howard Golden served as Brooklyn Borough President from 1978 to 2001. His responsibilities included collaboration with the Mayor's Office and City Council on budgetary matters, review of land use, economic development, and monitoring and modifying delivery of city services. The accession consists of correspondence, printed material, reports, and notes. It was used by the Borough President's staff for liaison with the Community Boards and to research matters of concern to the Boards. The records from the first two years were filed by Board Number, subject, and year; however the records from 1990 to 1997 form another group and were placed together and filed by Board Number and then by subject.
