Jeannette Gadson was appointed Deputy Borough President by Brooklyn Borough President Howard Golden in 1993. The accession consists of invitations, briefings, remarks, speeches, notes, correspondence, and routing sheets. Usually attached to the invitations are other types of material relating to an event the Deputy Borough President was invited to or planned to attend in place of the Borough President. If a routing sheet was attached to the other materials it would indicate the sponsor of the event, if the invitation was accepted or rejected (all present appear to have been accepted), and name and date of the event. It also noted additional information, such as if a press release should be issued, briefings prepared, and speeches or shorter remarks written. Arranged chronologically.
