Description

Howard Doyle was appointed Public Affairs Director in 1988 by Brooklyn Borough President Howard Golden and served until 1990. The accession consists of memoranda, correspondence, reports, printed material, press clippings, and other press material. The files document the Borough President's activities in office. They were also used to track day to day operational responsibilities of the director. There is a small amount of material that Doyle maintained from Press Secretary/Information Officer Deborah Gardner, who served from 1987 to 1988. The files were added to and maintained by Doyle's successors as Director, Patricia Smith in 1990 and Michael Armstrong in 1994. Arranged chronologically and thereunder alphabetically.
