The accession consists of correspondence, including print copies of email, memoranda, notes and printed material sent to Mayor Giuliani during the fourth year of his administration, 1997. The records contain both received and sent correspondence. The correspondence is with constituents, government officials, and members of the business, institutional and legal communities. The accession contains the fourth of eight years of general correspondence generated during the administration of Mayor Giuliani. There are three sequences to the records. The first is alphabetical by surname. The second is correspondence by email, arranged numerically in approximately chronological order by date received. The third is Anonymous which is in No apparent arrangement. order within the year. The material was processed by the Winthrop Group who provided an inventory, a microfilm copy, and a CD-ROM copy of the records.
