City planning population analysis maps for 1914 to 1957
Description
Accession consists of 87 City Planning maps which are mainly printed and color-coded. There are a few original maps. The purpose of the maps seem to be for reports produced in the 1930s. Two sets of maps contain 36 items per set, with an index. The sets are titled "Sectional maps, 1914" and "Sectional Maps, 1942." Included are some individual maps. Handwritten inventory includes preliminary details regarding: three original maps from the City Planning Commission; 11 maps from the Mayor's Commission on City Planning; one mounted map of the City north of 155th Street; 36 sectional maps for 1914; 36 sectional maps for 1942.
