Description

The City of Williamsburg was established in 1852 and annexed to the City of Brooklyn in 1855. The Board of Aldermen consisted of four members elected from each of the three Wards of the City. The bound volumes contain draft minutes of resolutions, motions, bills, reports from departments and committees. There are also some minutes of Common Council meetings mixed in with those of the Board of Aldermen. Volume list attached. Arranged chronologically.
