Description
Correspondence is comprised of originals and copies of incoming correspondence from City Council members, New York State (NYS) legislators, and members of the US Senate and Congress, copies of Mayor's replies and outgoing correspondence with such legislators. The material also includes attached letters, reports, programs, etc. The correspondence with City Council members concerns issues before the Council, reports issued by Mayor's committees, invitations, comments and complaints about City programs, and thank yous. The correspondence with NYS and US legislators consists primarily of correspondence regarding constituent matters, thank yous, and comments regarding legislation affecting City government.
