Description
In 1972 Congress amended the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (also known as the Clean Water Act). Section 208 called for the improvement of water quality around the country. Included are reports regarding legislation protecting the environment, sanitation commission reports, and manuals. The materials were collected by the Citizen's Advisory Committee and/or Sister Frances Kress, chair of the Water Quality Committee. Title list attached.
