Description
The Committee on City Plan and Public Improvements was a standing committee of the Board of Estimate and Apportionment. It dealt with local improvement projects, zoning regulations, grade changes and other matters which would affect the official city map. Each Borough President served on the Board of Estimate and Apportionment. The material includes correspondence, copies of Board of Estimate calendars, blueprints, verified protests (perhaps re: proposed plans), abstracts of published protests, and copies of legal documents. Arrangement is chronological, then numerical.
