This accession consists of formal replies from the Law Department, Office of the Corporate Counsel, on matters referred to the Corporate Counsel by the Bronx Borough President, the bulk of which deals with local improvements. There is also some material predating the Act of Incorporation, which is addressed to Louis G. Haffen, the Commissioner of Street Improvements, who became the first Bronx Borough President. Materials are arranged numerically.
