Description

Accession consists of bound volumes from of Newtown (seven volumes), Jamaica (one volume), Richmond (two volumes), Flushing (five volumes), and Westchester (four volumes). These towns are referred to as Old Towns as they were eventually absorbed into New York City along with others at the time of consolidation.
