35mm reels of New York City street crossings from 1977 to 1980


Description

This accession consists of reels of 35mm color negatives documenting New York City street crossings. The negatives contain sign, signboards, crosswalk markings, and Department of Transportation signals for street crossing, block by block, by numerical code. The reels are marked "M" and "Q" to indicate Manhattan and Queens. There is no index. In order to view these films two special projectors located in the Archives must be used. The film cannot be viewed on a microfilm reader. Materials are arranged alphabetically.
