Description

This accession consists of a copy of the certification of incorporation for the New York Butchers' Dressed Meat Company (July 18, 1902), by-laws, a statement of condition with description of plant and buildings, a list of stockholders, a list of stockholders of the New York Butchers' Fat Melting Company, a pamphlet titled, "Report of President" (January 11, 1904), and three typescript leaves. These are titled, "List of Executive Offices of the United States Government", "List of Articles Deposited under cornerstone of abattoir of the New York Butchers' Dressed Meat Company, May 25, 1904," and letterhead stationery with the names of individuals in charge of office and plant. These items were among the contents of a copper container placed in the New York Butchers' Dressed Meat Company building's cornerstone which was laid on May 25, 1904. There is no discernible arrangement.
