Queens grantor file index for 1827 to 1919
Description
Accession consists of 4 x 6 inch file cards, each identified as, "Grantors." Arranged alphabetically, the cards display the names of individuals, specific properties, and corporations, span dates for the period of grant, and a two or three-digit number, as in the following example: "Abrams, David June 1, 1827 to Mar. 10, 1852 349" There are entries for A, B, Y, and Z grantors only. The Municipal Archives does not hold the records to which this index belongs. It is unknown where the records might exist. Materials are arranged alphabetically.
