This accession consists of correspondence, memoranda, notes, guest lists, invitations, plans, press releases, press kits, brochures, and other printed material. Files are arranged by the date of the event. The material documents the planning for mayoral sponsored events, such as receptions, programs, and festivals. The accession is divided into two files, those events arranged by Special Assistant to the Mayor, Linda Cahill, and those arranged by Special Events Assistant Director, Joan Tucker. Events included receptions and programs for the Central Park Conservancy, the Inner Circle, Israel, NYS Senate, the World Business Council, and the 1989 Two Hundredth Anniversary of Washington's Presidential Inauguration.
