Description
Mary Carr was appointed Deputy Commissioner in 1983, having served in the Department of Records and Information Services as Director of Administration since 1982. Her duties included responsibility for assuming the duties of the commissioner in his absence. This accession consists of correspondence, memoranda, notes, reports, grants, procedures and rules, resumes, timesheets, and an appointment book. It was used by the Deputy Commissioner for reference in support of the commissioner in matters of policy and operations, including personnel. There are some of Carr's own personnel records from her prior position in the Department of Environmental Protection. Subjects include absence control, disaster planning, exhibition, Iron Mountain Storage, and travel.
