Description

Frederick A. Davie was appointed Deputy Borough President of Manhattan in 1994. The accession consists of correspondence, memoranda, notes, reports, and printed material. It was used to research within the Deputy Borough President's areas of responsibility, including serving as liaison with community groups, particularly African-Americans, economic development, and monitoring and modifying delivery of city services. Records include intra-office material and items between the Office and agency or department administrators and other government officials. Incoming and outgoing correspondence is filed under the letter "C". There is some material prior to Davie's tenure maintained for reference. Materials are arranged alphabetically.
