Accession ACC-1999-006. Unprocessed - RG 025. Department of Buildings

Description

This accession consists of photographs, correspondence, a report, and printed material received from Director of Electrical Control, Mario Penzi. They are a diverse group of materials apparently stored separately from other department records. Approximately one third of the photographs are of street lighting on Park Avenue, accompanied by an item of correspondence, a report, and technical brochures concerning a plan for street lighting. The remaining photographs are of street lighting and lighting fixtures on public buildings throughout New York City, from a variety of sources. Some are reprints of photographs as early as 1900. The photographs are black and white, 8 x 10 inches. There is no discernible arrangement.
