Description

This accession consists of the Bronx District Attorney's Appeals Bureau case file records. Included are motions such as notices of appeal, denials of leave, appeals to higher courts, and stipulations and orders. Motions are attached with reports from various justice and law enforcement agencies, petitions, and writs of habeas corpus. These documents constitute the trial preparation and outcome records for felony cases appealed by defendants or by the State of New York. Originally, each case was assigned a file number, however, the staff of the District Attorney re-arranged the files chronologically and thereunder by name of appellant.
