Description

The accession consists of correspondence, memoranda, notes, reports, and printed material. The correspondence is between state and federal officials and agencies and the Mayor's Office and includes a small amount of constituent correspondence. The material is arranged into sequences, with subsequences, chronologically by year. The major sequences and subsequences are: New York City (including Mayoral Staff and City Council); New York State (including Legislature and Governor); and Federal (including Congress and President); New York State and federal agencies and departments; and miscellaneous categories (including Mayoral proclamations, subject files and other categories, and mayoral executive orders, directives, and memoranda). The material was processed by the Winthrop Group who prepared an inventory, and a microfilm and CD-ROM copy of the records.
