Description
The accession consists of constituent correspondence to the Mayor that focuses on a specific issue. The correspondence is handwritten, typescript, or printed on form letters or cards. The material was maintained chronologically by year and thereunder alphabetically by subject. This accession is a sample from a larger volume of mail, accession 2005-079, "Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani issue mail for 1994-2000." The Winthrop Group procedures for sampling are described in some more detail in series 08, "Issue Mail" in the Giuliani finding aid. The inventory prepared by Winthrop Group lists the issues of the mail in chronological and alphabetical order and notes the original quantity of mail received on an issue found in Mayor Giuliani's issue mail. A microfilm and CD-ROM of the material has also been provided.
