The Central Park Greensward Plan


Description

This accession consists of one drawing, Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux’s 1858 original design for Central Park, known as the Greensward Plan. Created by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux in 1858, the Greensward Plan was the winning entry for the national design competition held by the Park’s Board of Commissioners.
