General correspondence for Deputy Commissioner of Highways Henry Fulton


Description

Henry Fulton was appointed Deputy Commissioner for Highway Operations in 1978, heading one of the agency's core divisions with responsibilities for monitoring and maintaining the structural integrity of the city's streets, highways, bridges and tunnels. This accession consists of correspondence, memoranda, notes, tracking sheets with some attachments of reports and printed materials. Each item of incoming correspondence is assigned a number upon receipt. Tracking sheets attached to correspondence contain routing information, correspondent, and subject remarks. Incoming correspondence is interagency and from public officials, civic groups, and contractors. Included also are complaints addressed directly to Fulton.
