New York County District Attorney record of cases for 1967 to 1975


Description

The accession consists of bound volumes of cases tried by the District Attorney in New York County (Manhattan) from 1967 to 1975. The dockets are identified on the spine as "Record of Cases" and are arranged alphabetically by surname of the defendant. The entries are handwritten on a printed form page and contain the defendant's name; offense; age; disposition; bail or bail bondsman; bond number; date of complaint; and the complete chronology of procedures in the office of the District Attorney, concluding with the ultimate disposition of the case. There are three volumes per year. The accession is a continuation of ACC-1993-032, New York County District Attorney record of cases, 1951-1966.
