Description

Dennison Young Jr. served as Counsel to the Mayor from 1994 to 2001 with responsibility to act as the Mayor's personal legal advisor on matters involving the City of New York. As such he advised the Mayor regarding legal and policy issues that affect the implementation of Mayoral initiatives, programs and operations. Geoffrey Hess served as one of the Deputy Counsels. The accession consists of correspondence, memoranda, reports, notes, legal documents, and printed material. The files particularly reflect the Mayor's initiatives in the area of privatization and enhancing technology in public schools. Arranged alphabetically.
