Description

The accession consists of brochures, postcards, and transparencies from 1964 New York World's Fair. Included are: three New York World's Fair postcards showing the Johnson Wax Pavilion, the Kodak Pavilion, and the State of New York exhibit; two brochures from the Vatican Pavilion and the DuPont Wonderful World of Chemistry exhibit; a flier listing the World's Fair sites in alphabetical order showing Robert Moses and of United States Royal Tire Pavilion on the obverse; and a half fold map of the Fair. The transparencies consist of ten color prints of World's Fair sites that may be from a larger set. All the material is in color except the Vatican Pavilion which is printed in one pinkish-brown color. All are in excellent condition except one postcard that has some staining. Accrual: This collection consists four guide books sponsored by American Airlines, Sinclair, Shell, and Milton-Bradley. There are also three 1964 popcorn bags, a green Sinclair dinosaur model, a silver plastic tray, a 1964 World's Fair patch, key chain, two paper cups, and an apron.
