Description

William O'Dwyer served as Mayor of New York City from 1946-1950. A dinner was held in his honor on May 26, 1947 at the Hotel Commodore tendered by the Democratic State Committee of New York. Attendance (supposedly) included President Harry S. Truman, Secretary of the Navy James Forrestal, and Paul E. Fitzpatrick, chairman of the Committee. The program lists the order of the day, menu, and members of the Dinner Committee.
