Description
The Brooklyn Borough Board is a charter-mandated committee comprised of the Borough President, who serves as Chairperson, the Council Members for each district in Brooklyn, and the chairpersons of Brooklyn's eighteen community boards. The Borough Board is empowered to initiate and review comprehensive or special purpose land use plans for Brooklyn, as well as mediate any disputes between community boards, and make policy recommendations to the Mayor and City Council. The function of the Brooklyn Borough Board is to review Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP) matters and any comprehensive plan affecting more than one Community Board District, and to work to resolve any conflict among the Board Districts. The Borough Board meets monthly. The accession consists of meeting minutes, agendas and attendance lists, correspondence, memoranda, and printed material. Arranged chronologically.
