Special Advisor to the Mayor, Jeremy Travis correspondence, memos, and printed material for 1987 to 1990

Description

Jeremy Travis was appointed a special advisor to Mayor Edward I. Koch in December 1986 on matters of agency operations, provision of city services, and program initiatives. He previously worked in the administration as a special counsel to Stanley Brezenoff. This accession consists of correspondence, memos, and some printed material. The correspondence is that of the Mayor and Travis, and divided into files for each. There is a small quantity of material from January 1990 that covers the transition to the Dinkins Administration. The material includes incoming and, particularly, outgoing correspondence consisting of constituent inquiries, intra-office, and that of local and other officials. These materials are arranged chronologically.
