The accession consists of warrants and vouchers. They indicate expenses incurred by the City of New York that were approved by the Mayor and the Common Council and paid by the Department of Finance and the City Treasurer. They include payroll, particularly judicial salaries, and election expenses. They are in roughly chronological order. The documents are tri-folded, but the paper is not embrittled. There is no inventory to the material.
