Description

These records were created during Howard Golden's tenure as Brooklyn Borough President. The majority of the records fall into two categories: Borough Hall Restoration Project files and General Subject files. The former act as an overview of the construction done on Brooklyn Borough Hall and include engineering reports, meeting minutes, and photographs, among other material. The latter records contain the administrative files of the cultural affairs liaison, and includes correspondence with cultural groups, memoranda, published literature, as well as files related to the Borough Hall Restoration. In addition to the above, there are 7 cubic feet of records related to the Borough President’s activities with regards to the Borough Service Cabinet and the Borough Board, which include meeting minutes and notices, attendance records, and correspondence.
