Paintings of the New York City World Trade Center and skyline from 2001

Description

The material consists of two paintings that appear to be images of the New York City World Trade Center and skyline. They are the work of Paula Brand(or Brando) who signed and dated them on the front of the canvas. There is no further identification on the paintings or known evidence from the Mayor's Office of Special Projects and Community Events (MOSPCE) of their provenance. The medium is either oil or acrylic. They measure 45 x 31 inches and 31 x 45 inches. They were probably either given to the Mayor's Office and sent to MOSPCE or given directly to MOSPCE. There are numerous other paintings commemorating the 2001 World Trade Center attack in Accession 2002-007 and Accession 2003-110.
