Consists of originals and copies of incoming correspondence from City Council members, New York State legislators, and members of the United States Senate and Congress, and copies of the Mayor's replies and outgoing correspondence with such legislators. The material also includes attached letters, reports, programs, etc. The correspondence with City Council members concerns issues before the Council, reports issued by Mayoral committees, invitations, comments and complaints about City programs and thank you letters. The correspondence with New York State and federal legislators consists primarily of correspondence regarding constituent matters, thank you letters, and comments regarding legislation affecting City government.
