Staten Island block and lot records for 1913 to 1988
Description
Series contains applications for construction, subsequent alterations, architectural plans, drawings, blueprints and related documents which relate to buildings on Staten Island. Arrangement is numerical by block and lot. It was maintained by the Department of Buildings and sent off-site to be microfilmed. The Archives housed the records until the microfilm was certified. Beginning August 24th, 1992 and continuing through September 1992, the Archives facility at Bush Terminal disposed of the bulk of the records with the assistance of the Department of Sanitation, retaining approximately 830 cubic feet out of approximately 3500 cubic feet. A small portion of historical block and lot information was retained. Arranged numerically.
