Description

This accession consists of registers created to record tests of the purity of milk for commercial distribution in New York City. An alternative designation for the accession is "Country Milk Control Sheets" indicating the geographic location of the wholesalers in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and upstate New York. The register indicates the wholesaler's name, location, date of testing, type of product tested, test results and date of notification to the wholesaler. The registers are arranged chronologically (circa 1930-1939) and arranged alphabetically (1956-1957).
