"25 Top Art Destination Cities" plaque and "American Style" magazine for 2003
Description
This accession consists of a plaque and an accompanying issue of American Style magazine from summer 2003, wherein an article appears about the award. American Style conducted a readers' survey to establish which 25 cities in the United States were considered the best for art galleries, museums, and art-related events. New York City ranked 2nd nationally. The plaque measures 10 x 15 inches and has an image of the summer 2003 magazine cover laminated on wood. The award was bestowed on the Department of Cultural Affairs who transferred it to the Municipal Archives. There is no system of arrangement for these items.
