Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting still photography permits for 2000 to 2002

Description

This accession consists of official still photography shooting permits, apparently all for commercial work. The printed forms, second and third carbon copies, contain the production company's name, address etc., its representative, dates of application and approval dates, times and locations, description of the scene, props and equipment used, and the number of vehicles and personnel in the production group. The name of the photographer(s) can't always be determined, but the scene descriptions are sometimes quite good, if brief. The forms are arranged in a single sequence by the date of approval, green forms for shoots in parks and yellow for streets, sidewalks and city property. The forms allow for special permissions for larger groups (over 10), special effects, animals, oversize or unusual props.
