Description
This accession consists of certificates, lists, bounty claims, affidavits and other legal documents, correspondence and financial records. The Committee was responsible for collecting and fulfilling property damage claims as a result of the Civil War Draft Riot. This accession was first inventoried in 1977, along with other Civil War-related material, and provisionally assigned an accession number that was never used. It was fully processed with a finding aid and folder-level inventory in 1994. The material is arranged alphabetically.
