Description

This accession consists of reports sent to the Board of Supervisors by the Commissioners of the Fund. They contain monthly accounts of funds disbursed and received, lists of families assisted and those no longer receiving assistance. This accession was first inventoried in 1977, along with other Civil War-related materials, and provisionally assigned an accession number that was never used. It was fully processed with a finding aid and folder-level inventory in 1994. The material is arranged chronologically.
