Real estate maps and water grant records circa 1700 to 1990
Description
This accession consists of 17 ledgers documenting city-owned real estate. It includes one volume of 19th century maps of real estate belonging to Kings County; nine volumes of Photostats of water grants (circa 1700s-1800s); one volume of indexes to water grants (undated); one volume of releases of covenants (circa 1940-1970); two volumes of surrenders and assignments of city property (circa 1925-1980s); and three volumes of "title vesting books" (circa 1910-1970s). Most of the volumes are in good condition. One volume of "title vesting" is fragile and has damaged pages. The volumes are not arranged in a particular way.
