Description

This accession consists of a photograph and a sympathy note. The photograph of Howard Colley was taken when he was stationed at Camp Walters in Mineral Wells, Texas in 1942. The sympathy note was sent to Elsie Colley by Mayor William O’Dwyer in 1948 after her son Howard was killed in France during World War II. The items were donated by Louan Colley Pyron, a granddaughter of Elsie Colley. These items are not arranged in any particular way.
