Kings and Queens County farmland maps circa 1800s to 1900s
Description
The accession consists of farmland maps. In 2011, the Department of Finance's Brooklyn and Queens offices were consolidated and the Brooklyn farmland maps were transferred to Queens location. All the maps were microfilmed and the microfilm remains in Queens. All the maps are also kept in Borough President's Office. Some of the maps are in Mylar, and most of them are flattened. They seem to be in a very rough order; Queens is a bit more sorted and Brooklyn is vaguely in chronological order.
